Dr. Quynh Tran grew up in Los Angeles County where at a young age she developed her interest in health and science. Upon graduating high school, she was enrolled to the University of Irvine, California where she received a Bachelor's degree for Biology and Minor in Studio Art. Afterward, she attended the New England College of Optometry School in Boston where she also received two clinical honors at her clinical training externship rotations. Dr. Tran also received the Dr. Hayman R. Kamens Achievement Award, an award in which honors her commitment and dedication to the optometric profession. Today, Dr. Tran continues to practice full scope optometry with emphasis in areas of pediatric optometry, specialty contact lens exam, corneal refractive therapy, vision therapy and primary care optometry. She is dedicated to provide the highest quality and personal vision care for her patients and believes that early intervention and prevention is the best mode to maintain excellent vision. Dr. Tran balances her life with family and community services to non-profit organizations. She is actively involved in various eye care outreach programs for the underserved communities and often participates as artist in local art show charity fundraisers. In addition to her passion for helping others through eye care, Dr. Tran also loves teaching. She has been a clinical preceptor for Western University since 2010 where she mentors and teaches optometry students. She received the Preceptor of the Year award in 2015 as well as an award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching Awards each year since then. Lastly, Dr. Tran has been active in the optometry community through serving in the Inland Empire Optometry Society Board of Directors for several years.

Dr. Christina La is a licensed optometrist in California with a therapeutic pharmaceutical agent certification and glaucoma certification. Dr. La received her B.S. in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine and graduated with Cum Laude. She received her Doctors of Optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum and graduated with Summa Cum Laude. Outside of optometry, she enjoys to workout, cook, site-see, travel, and give back to the community. During Dr. La’s schooling, she visited Vietnam along with other healthcare professionals to provide eye care to underserved communities. Aside from optometry, Dr. La enjoys participating in events dedicated to the less fortunate and special needs community.

Dr. Abigayle Gutierrez joined our practice in August of 2017. She graduated with her Doctorate in Optometry degree in 2017 from the Southern California College of Optometry at Ketchum Health University. During both her undergraduate and postgraduate academic career, she studied abroad in Costa Rica and went on a mission trip to provide eye exams to an orphanage located in Guatemala. As a result, she is comfortable with conducting eye exams in Spanish. Her special interests in optometry include: ocular disease, pediatrics and specialty contact lenses. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, 3 dogs and sing for the praise team at her local Church.

Dr. Jennifer Chan received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University and her Bachelor of Science degree for Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego. After optometry school, Dr. Chan completed her residency in Ocular Disease/Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, where she had extensive experience in managing and treating a variety of ocular conditions, providing low vision care, and addressing visual needs and refractive error. Dr. Chan is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and practicing full scope optometry. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, strolling through the park and exploring food places.
