Dr. Quynh Tran
Dr. Quynh Tran grew up in Los Angeles County where at a young age she developed her interest in health and science. Upon graduating high school, she was enrolled to the University of Irvine, California where she received a Bachelor's degree for Biology and Minor in Studio Art. Afterward, she attended the New England College of Optometry School in Boston where she also received two clinical honors at her clinical training externship rotations. Dr. Tran also received the Dr. Hayman R. Kamens Achievement Award, an award in which honors her commitment and dedication to the optometric profession. Today, Dr. Tran continues to practice full scope optometry with emphasis in areas of pediatric optometry, specialty contact lens exam, corneal refractive therapy, vision therapy and primary care optometry. She is dedicated to provide the highest quality and personal vision care for her patients and believes that early intervention and prevention is the best mode to maintain excellent vision. Dr. Tran balances her life with family and community services to non-profit organizations. She is actively involved in various eye care outreach programs for the underserved communities and often participates as artist in local art show charity fundraisers. In addition to her passion for helping others through eye care, Dr. Tran also loves teaching. She has been a clinical preceptor for Western University since 2010 where she mentors and teaches optometry students. She received the Preceptor of the Year award in 2015 as well as an award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching Awards each year since then. Lastly, Dr. Tran has been active in the optometry community through serving in the Inland Empire Optometry Society Board of Directors for several years.
